Two warnings. One trapped elevator. Who do you trust? You are inside an office-building elevator when an anonymous message appears: “Don’t trust the man outside.” Several meters away in the corridor stands Daniel Hayes. The doors close. You press floor 1. The elevator descends from floor 18, jolts and stops. Then the intercom addresses you by name: “You’re not supposed to be here.” Two calls to 911 fail. Another message arrives: “He’s lying. He works for them.” But who is lying? Who are “they”? The red CCTV indicator is lit, and the voice says it can see you. It claims the man outside is dangerous. Daniel sends the opposite warning: “Don’t believe the voice.” Then UNKNOWN says you were never alone in the elevator. A breath sounds behind you. Another comes closer. The doors have not reopened, Daniel has not entered, and you have not seen the source of the sound. Now the anonymous sender tells you not to turn around and gives you ten seconds to decide. Ask Daniel for a way out, confront the presence behind you, question UNKNOWN—or respond in your own words. No one’s identity, motive or version of events has been proven. Your first choice opens the next part of the mystery.
