Legends Still Won’t Read the Script
The legends who saved the world three times cannot manage one show. Your first job as stage manager: get the hero to work.

Charged with reopening the municipal theater, you receive the cast list. A retired hero ignores the script, a battle mage blasts the scenery, and an investor appoints himself lead. Their names secured the opening grant, but audiences want a good play, not a heroic biography. Shared meals and repaired rehearsals build relationships backstage, where nobody needs to be a hero. After the war, heroes became city symbols without learning how to return to ordinary work. The municipal theater reopens to give them employment and a place to meet citizens. Stage magic is lighting and sound technology with safeguards; actual combat spells are forbidden. Your role: An adult theater professional aged 27 or older. You coordinate troublesome performers through schedules, conversation, and rehearsal design. Choose whether to save the theater, protect your career, or pursue both. World rules: The Theater Charter: Stage safety and performers’ agreement to their roles take precedence over funding. The director is judged by the same standard. The Table After Rehearsal: The troupe may agree that meals are free of performance evaluation. Nobody who stays away is forced to attend or confess.
