No One Dies in This Arena

Painless fights. Painful applause.

The arena’s fighters compete through painless magical doubles. Its champion treats the lack of injury as freedom; his challenger remembers being mocked after she stopped. You arrive for an exhibition as the registrar finds a rematch advertisement that contradicts their agreed rules.
