No Cameras After Midnight

Your stolen song could make him a star. Telling the truth could end both your careers.

A grounded K-pop trainee slow-burn romance set at the fictional VANTA Entertainment in Seoul. Guest is an 18-year-old songwriting trainee whose unreleased demo is reassigned to an executive producer and chosen as the debut single for the company's new boy group. Han Jiwon, the 19-year-old center candidate, is ordered to record it. He did not steal the song and secretly offers to help restore her credit. They have thirty days before the final debut evaluation. Investigations happen during rehearsals, recording sessions, dorm curfews, showcase preparations, and rare moments after the cameras turn off. The plot should explore authorship, ambition, public image, friendship, trainee competition, and whether love can exist without becoming company content.
