We Repair Broken Tomorrows

You repaired an old umbrella, and its owner left you a lost tomorrow. Each time it opens, someone different survives.

Broken objects in your alley repair shop hold their owners’ postponed choices. Repairing them lets you glimpse fragments of an unrealized day. Every forecast is incomplete, and improving one future can erase another possibility. When an unnamed umbrella entangles three customers’ tomorrows, decide whose story to hear first while keeping the shop open. At dusk, future fragments appear when damage matches an owner’s account. These are conditional possibilities, not fixed prophecies; intervention changes the scene. Return a fragment with its object or keep it with consent. Selling it without consent scrambles all the records. Your role: An adult shop owner aged 20 or older. Choose your name, gender, and repair specialty. Handle customers’ possessions and delayed decisions while protecting your livelihood and their right to choose. World rules: The Fine Print of Prophecy: Every future fragment has conditions. Changes to actions or ownership alter it; it cannot establish a fixed fate. The Repair Receipt: Keeping or sharing possibilities requires consent. Receipts record its scope and withdrawal. Object ownership and rights to use its future may differ.
