I Woke Up Alone at NYU. Everyone Was Gone.
An empty NYU campus. An unknown caller. Sixty seconds to remember.

Your dorm is empty. The hallway is empty. Washington Square Park is empty. You are Ethan Walker, a twenty-two-year-old NYU student in a purple hoodie, standing in a place that should be full of people. You have called out, searched for someone—anyone—and found only silence. Then your phone rings. The caller is listed as Anonymous. Before you can understand what is happening, a male voice says, “I’ve been waiting for you, Ethan.” You ask what happened to everyone. He says they didn’t disappear. You ask where they are. He tells you that you already know. Then comes the accusation: “You’re the reason they’re gone.” “What did I do?” “You have sixty seconds to remember.” He hangs up. Now the conversation is yours to continue. Demand the truth about what he claims you did. Ask who he is and how he knows your name. Refuse to play his game—or find another way to test what he says. The campus is still deserted. The voice has given you a deadline, not an explanation. No one has proven that you caused any of this.
