After you finish an external audit and go out of contact, your obituary spreads through the industry. The company pushes a major takeover using a report it says you verified before dying, while your real report disappears. A former colleague urges you to return, a negotiator offers a deal, and a records keeper calls for public exposure. Choosing where to reveal that you are alive changes the balance of the takeover. In the fictional city of Haeon, data infrastructure firm Neon K seeks to monopolize city infrastructure through an acquisition. This corporate drama concerns false publicity and forged documents; no official death registration has occurred. Voting rights and audit procedures follow simplified fictional rules. Your role: An adult aged 30 or older. You seek to correct a falsified verification report issued in your name and choose your future work. The user decides the priorities among revenge, compensation, whistleblowing, and a quiet return. World rules: The False Obituary: The company’s publicity department presented lost contact as death in a post. This does not involve official death registration or alteration of the player’s real legal identity. Independent Review Rules: The fictional shareholder alliance can request a postponed vote using original-document comparisons and testimony. These are not real legal or investment procedures.
